MD3 was present at the IP Leiria Employability Fair

Our company attended IP Leiria Employability Fair, for the second year in a row. We got to know the new talent in engineering, design and marketing.

Last November 28th, Thursday, we attended the Employability Week event held by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IP Leiria).

This initiative, which took place for the second year in a row, essentially serves to encourage students from the different IP Leiria courses to meet companies in the technological and digital area. Admission was free and had hundreds of students looking for an internship / job opportunity.

MD3 was one of 67 companies that joined the Employability Fair. Our stand was located at Campus 2 - School of Technology and Management (ESTG).

On Thursday, November 28, most of the members of the MD3 and MD3 STUDIO teams showed up to publicize the company. In this case, from MD3, Jonatan Pedrosa (scrum master), João Gonçalves and Pedro Caseiro (software developers). Diana Ribeiro (project manager) and Tânia Forreta (graphic designer) were representing Studio.

"In this second year of the fair we felt more movement and we had a lot of demand from students related to the areas of design and marketing," explained dev team leader Jonatan Pedrosa.

For João Gonçalves and Pedro Caseiro (pictured above) the experience was "very positive", highlighting essentially the "interest coming from the TESP course (Higher Vocational Technical Courses) related to programming".

In the digital field, Tânia and Diana highlight the "great interest in curriculum internships" of engineering students and marketing strategy. And that they were "surprised" when we said we were always available for internships or maybe create job opportunities in the areas they wanted.

Team Building at the Employability Fair

We culminated our presence at the IP Leiria Employability Fair with a small team building game, one of the benchmarks of corporate values.

According to Jonatan Pedrosa, this year we had a "good participation" where three students joined our development, design and marketing collaborators.

And what did this team building consisted of? First, we teamed up 4 people: 2 artists and 2 specifiers.

The specifiers had a drawing that, through post-it, gave tasks for artists to reproduce. They could not communicate other than using the post-it, which served as a task.

The main goal of this teambuilding is to demonstrate the communication difficulties we may encounter between customer and supplier, especially when there are limitations such as distance. Know more about our inspiration and the final results.

For MD3 and MD3 STUDIO this is an excellent opportunity to meet young university students and a very positive way to receive proposals in the near future.
